Organize and Manage Your Photos

You can view, open, and organize images on your system using FotoFinish's Image Explorer.
The Image Explorer, docked on the left side of FotoFinish's program
window, displays the file system on your computer in a familiar Windows tree format.
You can browse your system for images by clicking on the plus sign next folders to
expand them and the minus sign to collapse them.
To hide or show the Image Explorer,
check or uncheck the Image Explorer option under Toolbars in the View menu.
You can also toggle the Image Explorer on and off by clicking the Image
Explorer button on the toolbar.

Browse Your Images and Albums
 |
FotoFinish treats folders that contain images as Albums automatically.
Albums contain thumbnails of each image as well as any annotations you wish to associate with
the images. Placing your cursor over an album pops up an album preview.
Placing your cursor over an image pops up an image preview. These previews allow you to
browse through your images without opening every file.
Albums are marked with a blue FotoFinish icon for easy identification.
There are three different kinds of image albums located in your Image Explorer tree distinguished by
their color. My Albums, which are short cuts to folders that
contain images, are purple: .
Stock graphics and photos that come free with FotoFinish are located in green folders: .
Your system folders are yellow
and folders that contain images are marked using the blue album icon: .
