View Album as a Slide Show
 |
Use FotoFinish's slide show feature to quickly browse through any
album of images or to show off your latest vacation photos.
Just choose View Album as Slide Show from the album right-click
menu or select the Slide Show command from the View menu.
In a settings dialog, you can choose a Display Size and
Transition Effect. Use the preview pane to experiment with a variety of
sizes and transitions.
You can also set the amount of time between the transitions using
the time slider control. To scroll through images using the arrow keys,
select the manual option. Checking the Display Continuously box will
cause the slide show to repeatedly cycle through all the images.
To start the slide show, simply click OK.
You can return to the FotoFinish program window at any
time by clicking the left mouse button or by hitting the Escape key.

Set Album as ScreenSaver
 |
Using the built-in screensaver
application, you can turn any album of images into a screensaver.
Simply choose Set Album as ScreenSaver from the album right-click
menu or select the Set ScreenSaver command from the
File menu.
When your system is left untouched for a period of time,
the screensaver will launch and cycle through the selected images.
Hit any key or move your mouse to exit the screensaver mode.
You can also hit the Enter key to launch the ScreenSaver dialog and modify your settings.

Lossless Rotation
 |
You can rotate images in 90 degree increments right from the album window.
Just select any thumbnail, and from the
right-click menu choose either Rotate Left or Rotate Right.
This will not only rotate the thumbnail
preview, but the image the thumbnail represents. Because this does not actually open and save the image, it allows
you to rotate JPG files (and other lossy file formats) without degrading the image quality.
