Deleting Images
 |
You can delete images from any album. You can right-click on the image and
select Delete in either an Album Window or the Image Explorer.
Keep in mind that when you delete images from My Albums,
you are also deleting the original image. Only the folders in
My Albums are shortcuts, the images inside the albums are the originals.
When you delete them, they are sent to the Recycle Bin on your system.

Permanently Deleting Albums

FotoFinish treats folders that contain images as albums.
To delete one of these albums from your system, select it in the Image Explorer tree and click the
right mouse button to bring up the right-click menu. In the menu,
select Delete. FotoFinish will only allow you to
delete folders that contain images exclusively. Any folder that contains files
other than standard image files cannot be deleted using FotoFinish.

You can remove, but not delete, albums from the My Albums area. Since these
folders are shortcuts to real albums on your system, you can remove the shortcut,
but to delete the actual album, you must locate it on your system and then use
the method described above.

Deleting Folders from the My Albums Area
 |
If you added new sub-folders to the My Albums area, you can also delete them.
To delete one of these folders, select it in the Image Explorer tree and click the
right mouse button to bring up the right-click menu. In the menu,
select Delete Folder.
Deleting one of these folders from
the My Albums area only deletes the
folder and any shortcuts to albums inside it. The albums themselves are
retained in their original location on your system.
