Once you perfect the technique of removing a single blemish from a photograph,
you can remove much larger objects like braces. As with any detail work, your first step
should be to zoom in.
Next, use the Polygon Selection Tool to select the teeth.
As before, click down with the mouse where you want your
selection to start and continue clicking to add line segments.
To close the selection, double-click.
Next, copy-paste your selection to a new layer (Images menu->Layers->Add Layer). This way
you can easily go back to the original photograph.
Now, select the Touch Up Tool from the Wizard Panel. As discussed before,
this tool lets you paint
over any blemishes using a selected flawless area of your image as the "paint."
Once the braces are removed, whiten the teeth as described earlier in this part of our tutorial.
