Adding Text |

To add text to your layout, click on the Text Tool  and simply type anywhere on the background of
your layout.
Designer treats text as a floating object you can drag to any
position in your layout (even on top of a photo frame).
You can
change the appearance of your text by using the commands under the Text menu or the
text buttons on your toolbar.

To add text, simply type

| Adding Lines |

To add a line, select the Line or Arc Tool  , and click down and drag your cursor in the drawing area.
You can resize the lines after you draw them by dragging on the square handles at their end points.
To move them, simple select and drag.
