What is a Photo Layout? |
 |
 |
 |
Photo layouts consist of a series of photo frames that contain placeholders for photos.
These placeholders can be replaced with photos from your main FotoFinish program by simply double-clicking on them.
Once back in the main FotoFinish program, just drag and drop any photo to replace the placeholder and close the image to return to
the Designer to complete your layout.

| Resizing Photo Frames |
 |
 |
 |
Want a larger frame? A smaller one? You can resize any photo frame in your layout by first selecting it and then
dragging the black resizing handles located along the edges of the frame. By default, when you replace the placeholder
with a real photo it will fill the entire frame area.
You can also resize the frame once it has a photo inserted in it. If you modify its proportions, you can reveal more of
an otherwise larger photo.
Rotating Photo Frames
You can rotate a photo frame by dragging on the circular Rotation Handle near its edge.
Note:
When you rotate a photo frame, the image inside it does not rotate. To rotate the photo, use
the Rotate command in the main FotoFinish program before placing it into the photo frame in Designer.
To edit your image in FotoFinish while working in Designer, simply double-click the photo.
After editing, just close the image window in FotoFinish to return to Designer and
your newly-changed image will be updated.
